A Center for a King

I recently visited Atlanta, and during my trip, I had the chance to explore the King Center. It was a powerful experience, especially considering that I had been to Atlanta several times but never made it a priority to visit. In the past, I'd explored the city's museums and even the famous aquarium, but this trip felt different.

What made it particularly meaningful was that I was there with my husband. He's a pastor, theologian, and deep thinker, and in many ways, he embodies the same spirit as the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It was just the two of us, which added to the intimacy of the experience. We walked through the exhibits, reflecting on Dr. King's legacy and the lasting impact of his work, and we felt a profound sense of connection.

If you ever find yourself in Atlanta, I highly recommend visiting the King Center. It’s a place that reminds us of the immense contributions Dr. King and Coretta Scott King made to our country and beyond. Take the time to immerse yourself in the history and legacy—they are truly worth experiencing.

Sending love and light,
