Created by and for the African American community, Social Roots aims to challenge the ATTITUDE we as African American people have in our community surrounding mental and behavioral health. ATTITUDE provides a safe space to learn, engage, & explore mental health concerns with African American women.

Greetings Queens!
Welcome to a space filled with intention, love, and support. Our summit is set to begin promptly on Saturday, January 6th at 8:00 AM, where we'll kick off the day with an amazing continental breakfast followed by our esteemed guest speakers. A delightful lunch will be served at noon, followed by our workshops, and we'll conclude the day at 5:00 PM, ensuring we respect your time.
Let's dive into what you can expect during our empowering Sunday. On Sunday, we'll focus on spiritual healing, worship, and love, commencing at 10:00 AM and concluding at 2:00 PM.
Each ticket purchase comes with a $50.00 donation to the Social Roots Foundation. Together, we aim to reach a generous donation goal of $5,000.00. These funds will be used to create a scholarship program supporting Black women pursuing careers in the mental, behavioral, and/or public health field. We are thrilled to contribute to the growth and opportunities for Black women in these important areas.
The ticket price includes entry to the conference, catered breakfast, lunch, and Sunday brunch, as well as an exclusive ATTITUDE swag bag. Rest assured that throughout the event, you'll experience 100% sisterly LOVE and support! For those who have attended our previous gatherings, you already know this is an event not to be missed.
During the summit, you'll have the chance to select from various workshops focusing on health topics that disproportionately impact African American women. These workshops will be presented by African American women professionals who are experts in their fields. Whether you choose to attend one or both days, your ticket covers both options.
